The Results Are In...
In January, I did something I have never done before -- I submitted images in the Shoot & Share Photo Contest. This particular contest is free and anyone can enter up to 50 images across 25 different categories. This year, approximately 413,000 images were submitted from all over the world! Over 81 million votes were cast, and the results are in!
Of the images I submitted, 39 got awards. Still, as I type this, I cannot believe it. I am seriously humbled, and very surprised and excited with the outcome.
So, before you read any further, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to all that voted and thank you to all that let me know they saw my images. This was quite the experience and I couldn't be more proud. If you entered, I want to say congratulations to you. Regardless of your results, it's hard to put your images out there for the world to see and to be judged. I was terrified and I'm sure you were too, so here's to being vulnerable, brave, scared, and every emotion in between. High-fives to us!
