I had this session with my niece last week at one of my new favorite places (thanks to my friend, Rachel Nielsen -- amAzing photog, btw) with one of the most magical sunsets I've seen yet. It was cold and breezy (which is expected in N.Utah in January), but we had we had a great time and got some pretty amazing shots of a great place.

I'm from California, and while the sunsets are beautiful there they don't have the same power of calm that sunsets in this beautiful state has. Only at sunset on the great salt lake do the horizons meet with such unique calm and serenity. I can't wait to go back!
