When preparing for a session, I typically call the family to feel them out to get an understanding on what their expectations may be... When this family told me that their only requirement was mountains (they're "flat-landers"), I knew the perfect location. It rained that morning and again an hour before our shoot, taking our chances we headed to the mountains... and when the mountains are calling, we must go! The weather, plus their infectious personalities couldn't have led to a more perfect shoot -- I had to much fun and have been swooning over their images ever since.
