The Shupe’s.

I’m always humbled when close friends ask me to take their family pictures. I still get the same nerves as I do with any session, but when it’s a friend I feel I can push the limits in regards to location and backdrop… and maybe even try a new thing or two.

In this case, my friend (the mom) said she wanted a mountain view/landscape, but somewhere that they haven’t gone before. I’ve used this location in the past, very rarely based on it’s terrain, but knowing them, I knew it was the perfect spot.

I’m so glad she trusted me because we hit the location out of the park! With the ever so slightest breeze, I feel it really made the motion in their images come to life.

Plus, look at that view. BIG heart eyes if you ask me! I am so thankful they hired me and trusted me to take their early-fall family pictures before the leaves changed! Thank you so much, Shupe’s! xx
